The RCR-REX-W is a dual technology request to exit sensor in white, used above a controlled door to release the lock when someone approaches from the secure side. It combines passive infrared with 5.8 GHz Doppler range controlled radar and only triggers when both technologies detect motion, which is the standard method for keeping a door from releasing on a passing shadow or a draught.
Two Form C relay outputs rated 2 A at 30 V are provided, along with a tamper output and a door monitor input. A built in adjustable piezo sounder gives a continuous tone for the fifteen seconds before the relay timer expires and a beeping tone when a door is held open too long. Eight DIP switches set the relay time from half a second to sixty four seconds and configure the sounder, LED, timer reset, door monitor mode and fail safe or fail secure relay behaviour. The unit is supplied with a matching wall plate.

Additional Information
Please read this before ordering. The quantity is two individually boxed units, each carton marked quantity 1. It is not a factory two pack.
The applied product label states Made in Mexico while the pre printed carton artwork states Made in U.S.A. The applied label reflects the actual build, so the country of origin is stated as Mexico.
This is an indoor device with no published ingress protection rating. It is not suitable for exposed outdoor mounting.
Dual technology means both the infrared and the radar must detect motion before the relay operates. This is a deliberate false alarm reduction design, not a fault.
UTC Fire & Security and Interlogix no longer exist as go to market brands. The identical product is now supplied in Australia under the Aritech brand by Carrier.
The date code indicates November 2015 manufacture. This is new old stock and the cartons are shelf worn. One of the two cartons has been opened for photography, the other has not.
Installation should be carried out by a licensed security technician.
