Returns & Refunds Policy

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

For standard returns:

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs

For faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied items:

  • We will provide a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law
  • Return shipping will be covered by us where applicable

Certain specialised industrial, electronic, software, and custom-made items may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

1. Overview

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.

  • Return window: 30 days from the date you receive the item.
  • Warranty on faulty items: 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

2. Start a Return

To start a return, email sales@indrelec.com.au with your order number and details. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and provide instructions. Items sent without an RMA may not be accepted.

3. Eligibility & Condition

  • Items must be returned in the same condition you received them, unused, with all accessories and original packaging.
  • Electronics/ESD items must remain sealed in protective packaging, with serial numbers and labels intact.
  • Kits or sets must be returned complete.

4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • Dead on arrival or transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of packaging and item.
  • Incorrect items must be reported within 7 days.
  • If approved, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse return shipping. Replacement, repair, or refund will be offered as appropriate.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Our fault (faulty/incorrect/DOA): We cover return shipping.
  • Other reasons (if approved): Customer covers return shipping and safe packaging.

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-made or cut-to-order items.
  • Software, licences, or activation keys.
  • Items installed, modified, or used contrary to specifications.
  • Items returned incomplete, with missing accessories, or tampered serial labels.

(This does not affect your statutory rights under the ACL.)

7. Refunds

We inspect returns within 2–3 business days of receipt. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Bank processing times may vary.

8. Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange is to return the original item (once approved) and place a new order.

9. International Returns

International customers must clearly mark parcels as "Returned goods – no commercial value". Any duties or taxes charged due to incorrect declarations are the sender’s responsibility.

10. EU Customers

If goods are shipped into the European Union, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason. Items must be unused, with tags and original packaging, and proof of purchase is required.
