Revolabs 03-HDXLRMICEU-11 Executive HD Wireless XLR Adapter DECT EU (NEW In Box)

The Revolabs 03-HDXLRMICEU-11 is a wireless XLR plug-on adapter from the Revolabs Executive HD wireless microphone system. Revolabs was acquired by Yamaha and became Yamaha Unified Communications in June 2018, so this part is sold under both the Revolabs and Yamaha names with the part number unchanged. The unit fits onto the male XLR connector of an existing wired handheld or broadcast microphone and turns it into a wireless microphone on an Executive HD system.

It is not a microphone in itself, it has no capsule. Wireless transmission is DECT with 128 bit DSAA authentication and the 64 bit DECT standard cipher. The EU in the part number denotes the 1880 to 1900 MHz DECT band used across Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, which is the correct band for Australian use. The unit runs on an internal lithium polymer battery giving up to 8 hours of talk time and charges in the Executive HD drop in charger base.

Additional Information

This adapter does not work on its own. It requires a matching EU region Revolabs Executive HD base station, part number 03-HDEXECEU-NM or 03-HDEXEC4EU-NM, together with the Executive HD charger base. A North American base will not pair with this unit. It is not compatible with the Revolabs Executive Elite range, which uses a different microphone family.

The adapter supplies no phantom power or bias current, so it suits dynamic microphones only and will not operate a condenser or electret microphone.

The Revolabs Executive HD range is discontinued by Yamaha. The internal lithium polymer battery is not user replaceable and its condition has not been tested. Yamaha does not publish a country of origin for this part, so none is stated.
