The Omron Z500-SW17 is a laser displacement sensor head for the Omron Z500 profile measuring system. It projects a line beam onto the target and connects to a Z500 controller such as the Z500-MC10E.
Omron catalogue data for this head gives a measuring range of plus or minus 20 mm at a 100 mm centre distance in diffuse mode, a 60 micron by 45 mm line beam and a visible 658 nm laser. The head has an integrated cable with a circular connector and ferrite cores, and is labelled 24 VDC. Made in Japan.
