The Omron F3SG-4RA0800-14 is a Type 4 safety light curtain from the F3SG-R Advanced series, with an 800 mm protective height and 14 mm detection capability. It is supplied here as a complete factory matched pair, comprising the emitter F3SG-4RA0800-14-L and the receiver F3SG-4RA0800-14-D. The two units carry the matching serial root 1298316, confirming they left the factory as a set. Safety light curtains of this type guard machine access openings, replacing a physical guard where operators need frequent reach in.

The 14 mm detection capability gives finger protection across 79 beams on a 10 mm beam gap, with an operating range of 0.3 to 10 metres and a 13 millisecond response time. The Advanced model adds muting, blanking, external device monitoring, interlock and selectable PNP or NPN output polarity, configured through Omron SD Manager 3. Both units are 35 mm by 35 mm aluminium housings rated IP65 and IP67, with prewired M12 connectors, five pin on the emitter and eight pin on the receiver.

Please read this before ordering. This is a used safety component sold as is and untested. It has not been powered up, functionally verified or safety validated by the seller. Before being relied upon for any safety function it must be inspected, installed, configured and validated by a competent person in accordance with AS 4024 and ISO 13849.

Mounting brackets are not included. Omron normally supplies two sets of standard brackets with an 800 mm unit and these are not present. Brackets will need to be sourced separately.

The Advanced type stores configuration in the unit. Settings applied by the previous owner, including blanking zones, muting, EDM and output polarity, are not visible externally and may still be in place. Restore factory defaults with Omron SD Manager 3 before use.

The units were manufactured in 2016. Safety components carry a finite service life underpinning their SIL 3 and PL e claims. Confirm remaining service life against Omron guidance before putting them into a safety function.

The front lens strip on one unit shows fine surface scratching. Both housings are otherwise straight and undamaged, with all labels legible and cable jackets and connector pins in good order.

The emitter and receiver are a matched pair and are sold together only. Each bar is approximately 870 mm long, so this ships as an oversize parcel.
