The Mean Well SP-200-15 is a 200 W enclosed switch mode power supply with a single 15 V DC output rated at 13.4 A. It has built in active power factor correction and an internal DC cooling fan, and is designed to be built into industrial equipment, control panels and OEM machinery.

Input is a universal 85 to 264 V AC or 120 to 370 V DC. Efficiency is 84 percent typical and power factor exceeds 0.93 at 230 V AC. The output is adjustable from 14.3 to 16.5 V through a front potentiometer. Protection covers overload with constant current limiting and auto recovery, over voltage and over temperature. Connections are made on a seven way barrier terminal block with a clear cover, and a remote control input is provided.

Additional Information

Please read this before ordering. This model is discontinued and obsolete in the Mean Well range, superseded by the RSP-200 series. There is no warranty pathway and no new supply. It suits anyone maintaining legacy equipment built around the SP-200.

The unit has an internal cooling fan. It is not silent, and on new old stock that has been stored for some years the fan is the component most worth bench testing before it goes into service.

It is certified to the older UL 60950-1 safety standard rather than the current 62368-1, so it is not suitable for new design compliance work.

The distributor label on the outer carton reads Made In Taiwan while the unit's own nameplate reads Made In China. The nameplate governs, so the country of origin is stated as China.

This is a bare enclosed industrial component with exposed 240 V AC barrier terminals. It must be installed inside a suitable enclosure by a competent person in accordance with AS/NZS 3000.

The item is new and supplied in its distributor box. The packaging may show minor shelf wear from storage.
