The Kramer TP-580TXR is a 4K60 4:2:0 HDMI HDCP 2.2 transmitter that sends video, RS-232 and IR over extended-reach HDBaseT. Kramer part number 50-80021190. It takes one HDMI source and drives a single twisted pair cable to a matching Kramer HDBaseT receiver, so long display runs use structured cabling instead of an HDMI cable.

The transmitter supports 4K at 60 Hz in 4:2:0 at 24 bits per pixel, is HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliant and HDBaseT 1.0 compliant, with bandwidth up to 10.2 Gbps, or 3.4 Gbps per graphic channel. Reach is 100 m at 4K60 4:2:0, 130 m at 1080p60 36bpp, and up to 180 m in HDBaseT ultra mode at 1080p60 24bpp. Control travels on the same cable, with bidirectional RS-232 on a 9-pin D-sub at 300 to 115200 baud and bidirectional IR on a 3.5 mm mini jack. Connections are one HDMI input, one HDBaseT RJ-45 output, the IR jack and the RS-232 D-sub. Power is 12 VDC at 280 mA from the supplied 12 VDC 2 A adapter.
