The Kramer PT-871/2XR-KIT is a compact 4K HDR HDMI extender kit that runs over long-reach DGKat 2.0. The kit contains the PT-871xr transmitter and the PT-872xr receiver as a matched pair, so a single shielded twisted pair cable replaces a long HDMI run between a source and a remote display. The pair carries up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz in 4:4:4 at 24 bits per pixel, and 3840x2160 at 60 Hz 4:4:4, with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 support and bandwidth up to 18 Gbps, or 6 Gbps per graphic channel. Reach is up to 60 m at 4K60 4:4:4 and up to 70 m at 4K30 4:4:4 over shielded Kramer UNIKAT or plenum HDKat cable. Two-way PoC means either unit can power the link, so only one mains outlet is needed for the pair. Connectors are HDMI female in and out and an RJ-45 female DGKat line connector on each unit, with a power draw of 600 mA. Each unit measures 62.2 x 51.8 x 24.4 mm and weighs approximately 0.2 kg.
