Konftel 900102149 OCC Hub One Cable Connection USB HDMI Hub (NEW In Box)

The Konftel OCC Hub is the One Cable Connection hub from Konftel's video collaboration range. It stays permanently installed in a meeting room, wired to the room camera, the speakerphone and the display. A person walking in with a laptop plugs in one single USB cable and immediately has the camera, the microphone and speaker, and the room screen available to whatever conferencing application they are running. That is the whole idea: one cable at the table instead of three.

The hub takes a USB 3.0 connection from the laptop and fans it out to two USB 2.0 ports for the camera and speakerphone plus an HDMI output for the room display, driving up to 2048 x 1152. The HDMI output is carried over USB using DisplayLink, so the DisplayLink driver must be installed on the connecting laptop. The hub is mains powered from its own supply and does not draw from the laptop.

The DisplayLink driver is a free download and must be installed on the connecting computer before the HDMI output will work. USB audio and video pass through without a driver.

The Konftel OCC Hub is discontinued and Konftel has not published a direct replacement. Its function is folded into the newer Konftel 70 and Cam20 room architecture.
