The Konftel 55Wx is a battery powered conference speakerphone with a colour touchscreen, built around Konftel's OmniSound audio processing. It is designed to sit in the middle of a meeting table and bridge several audio sources at once, so a laptop softphone call, a mobile phone call over Bluetooth and a desk phone line can all be joined into the same conference. The internal battery means it can be moved between rooms or repositioned mid meeting without unplugging.

Audio pickup is a single hypersensitive omnidirectional microphone giving 360 degree coverage, with full duplex operation, acoustic echo cancellation and noise suppression. Konftel rates it for up to 12 people or 30 square metres on its own, and up to 20 people or 70 square metres with the optional expansion microphone pair. Speaker frequency response is 100 Hz to 24 kHz at 90 dB SPL measured at half a metre. An SD card slot allows meetings to be recorded locally.
