The IP Enclosures IP-404020 is a wall mount single door industrial electrical enclosure measuring 400 mm high by 400 mm wide by 200 mm deep. It is built for switchgear, control gear and instrumentation that has to survive dust, hose-down washing and impact, in plant rooms, workshops, food processing areas and outdoor installations. IP Enclosures designs in Australia and manufactures in Europe.

The body is 1.2 mm galvanised steel sheet, with a 1.5 mm galvanised steel door, gland plate and device mounting plate. The finish is a UL approved AkzoNobel epoxy-polyester textured powder coat in standard RAL 7035 grey. Sealing is by a machine applied foamed-in-place polyurethane gasket rated from -40 to +80 degrees C. The enclosure is rated IP66, IK10 and NEMA 4, and is built to IEC/EN 62208, IEC/EN/AS 60529 and IEC/EN 61439, with UL listing under file E534557 plus CE, UKCA and RoHS. The door opens to 110 degrees on a chrome 5 mm double-bit quarter-turn lock, and the body is supplied with pre-fitted blind nutserts, removable cable management rails and integral M6 earth studs.
