The IDEC SA1E-TN1-2M is a miniature through-beam photoelectric sensor set from the IDEC SA1E series. Each set is supplied as a matched pair, comprising a receiver (part number SA1E-TNR1-2M) and an emitter, or projector (part number SA1E-TNP1-2M). The emitter transmits an infrared beam across an open gap to the receiver, and the sensor detects when an object interrupts that beam, making it well suited to reliable object detection over longer distances.

The receiver provides an NPN transistor output and operates from a 12 to 24 V DC supply. It offers a sensing range of up to 10 metres, a compact rectangular housing, and a 2 metre pre-wired cable on each unit. Operation and stability LED indicators together with a sensitivity control support quick setup and stable detection in industrial environments. This item was manufactured in Japan.
