Overview
Power your STEM projects with the H-30 PEM Fuel Cell (30 W) — a compact, high-performance hydrogen fuel cell built for hands-on learning and real-world applications. Trusted by university teams like McMaster University’s Chem-E-Car champions, the H-30 delivers reliable, clean energy with plug-and-play simplicity and an integrated cooling fan, making it ideal for classrooms, competitions, and innovation labs.
Why Choose the H-30 Fuel Cell?
- Plug-and-Play Simplicity – Seamless integration for classroom and competition use
- Integrated Cooling Fan – Enhanced durability and optimal thermal performance
- Reliable Output Under Pressure – Proven in Chem-E-Car Competition and H2 Grand Prix
- Compact, Competition-Ready Design – Fits shoebox-size vehicle constraints (Chem-E-Car, H2GP)
- Empowers Real-World Learning – Teaches reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and electrical systems
Fuel Cell Stack 30W
Hear from Our Customers:
“Horizon stacks are very flexible for research and education. It is very didactic. The students compare the properties of the fuel cell stack with increasing power and also gain knowledge about the construction of the fuel cell stack—not only for power but also for the electrical needs of the system, cooling, etc.” — Professor Magdalena Dudek, AGH University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Energy and Fuels, Kraków, Poland
30W Fuel Cell and Hydrogen — Safety Requirements
- Do not connect or disconnect power cables when the fuel cell stack is turned on.
- Warranty is void if the fuel cell stack is disassembled or altered.
- Hydrogen is colorless, odorless, and flammable.
- Always operate and store stacks and hydrogen canisters in a well-ventilated area.
- Equip systems with an accurate hydrogen sensor to detect leaks.
- Refer to the H-30 User Manual for the complete safety requirements.
Hydrogen Storage Tip
The best way to supply hydrogen to this fuel cell is using the Hydrostik Pro. Hydrostiks store hydrogen safely and economically, and can be filled using the HydroFill Pro electrolyzer, which produces hydrogen from de-ionized or distilled water.
