The Hitachi USB-Link11n is the genuine Hitachi USB wireless LAN adapter for Hitachi projectors, also published by Hitachi under the part code USB-WL-11N. It plugs into the projector's USB Type A wireless port and adds wireless networking, so a presenter can send content to the projector over Wi-Fi and a technician can reach the projector's network functions without running a cable to the mounting position.

The adapter operates in the 2.4 GHz band over a USB 2.0 interface and supports WEP 64 and 128-bit, WPA-PSK with TKIP or AES, and WPA2-PSK with AES, in both infrastructure and ad-hoc modes. Hitachi's specification sheet lists it at approximately 33 x 17.8 x 7.6 mm excluding protrusions.
