The Hitachi DT01381 is a genuine Hitachi replacement lamp unit for Hitachi ultra short throw and short throw 3LCD projectors. It is supplied as a complete module, with the arc bulb already fitted inside the Hitachi lamp housing, so the assembly drops straight into the projector lamp door without any handling of the bare bulb. Hitachi lists the same assembly under the service code CPA222WNLAMP, and it supersedes the earlier DT01181 and DT01251 lamp codes used across the same projector families.

The module uses a high pressure mercury arc bulb rated at 215 W, with a quoted service life of 3,000 hours in normal mode and 5,000 hours in eco mode. Fitting a genuine Hitachi module keeps the projector operating within the optical and thermal specification it was designed around. The lamp contains mercury and must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
