ENTRO D0653 Standard Arm Door Closer Size 2-5 Fire Rated Silver (NEW In Box)

The ENTRO D0653 is a surface mounted hydraulic overhead door closer supplied with a standard scissor arm. ENTRO is an Australian door hardware brand and the D0653 is its adjustable power size 2 to 5 model, supplied here in the silver finish with the manufacturer order code D0653SIL. The closer uses a rack and pinion mechanism and mounts to the door leaf with the arm anchored to the frame, giving controlled closing on timber and metal doors in commercial and residential openings.

Closing speed and latching speed are independently adjustable, and an adjustable backcheck valve limits the door swing near the fully open position. Power size is set on the unit itself, so one closer covers doors from 850 mm and 40 kg through to 1250 mm and 100 kg. The unit is supplied factory preset at size 4. ENTRO states the closer has been successfully tested on fire door assemblies to AS 1905 Part 1 and carries a 25 year mechanical warranty.

The instruction sheet supplied in this box states a maximum door opening of 180 degrees for all power sizes. The ENTRO published specification sheet states 130 degrees for size 4. If the opening angle is critical to your installation, confirm the figure with ENTRO before fitting.
