EnGenius EWS2910P 8 Port Gigabit PoE Managed Switch 2 SFP 55W (NEW In Box)

The EnGenius EWS2910P is an eight port gigabit PoE managed switch with two SFP uplinks and a built in wireless access point controller. It is part of the EnGenius Neutron platform, so the same box that powers and switches the network also manages EnGenius EWS access points without a separate controller appliance. The desktop form factor suits a small office, a classroom or a comms cupboard where a rack is not available.

All eight copper ports deliver IEEE 802.3af PoE at up to 15 W each, within a total budget of 55 W. Switching capacity is 20 Gbps with a store and forward architecture, an 8,000 entry MAC table and jumbo frame support to 9,216 bytes. Layer 2 features include STP, RSTP and MSTP, eight LACP groups, port mirroring, IGMP and MLD snooping, 802.1Q VLAN, eight QoS queues per port and a 50 entry access control list.

Please read this before ordering. The box is factory sealed and has not been opened, so the contents listed above are taken from the manufacturer's printed package contents panel rather than from inspection.

The carton region code is US0X, which on EnGenius stock keeping units usually denotes the North American build and a North American mains cord. Because the box is sealed this cannot be confirmed. An Australian IEC mains lead may be required. Please ask us to open and check before ordering if this matters.

This switch provides IEEE 802.3af PoE only, at 15 W per port. It is not 802.3at PoE Plus and will not power devices that require more than 15 W, which includes many current access points and pan tilt zoom cameras.

This model is discontinued by EnGenius and has been replaced by the ECS1008P. It is legacy Neutron platform hardware, not the current EnGenius Fit line, and no cloud service should be assumed. Firmware on the shelf dates from 2019. Offered as new old stock.

The item is new and supplied in the manufacturer's sealed box. The packaging may show minor shelf wear from storage.
