EnGenius EWS1025CAM Managed MeshCam 2MP Wireless Dome IP Camera (NEW In Box)

The EnGenius EWS1025CAM is an indoor dome surveillance camera that is also a dual band 802.11ac wireless access point. It is part of the EnGenius Neutron managed range, so a single device can cover a room for both video and Wi-Fi and be administered from an EnGenius EWS wireless management switch. The camera can also run standalone and is ONVIF Profile S compatible for use with third party recording software.

Video is 2 megapixel at 1920 x 1080 and 30 frames per second from a Sony 1/2.9 inch progressive scan CMOS sensor, through a fixed 2.8 mm f2.0 lens with a 120 degree diagonal field of view. Twenty four infrared LEDs with an IR cut filter give night vision to 20 metres. The wireless side is 2T2R on both bands, up to 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and up to 867 Mbps at 5 GHz, with internal 5 dBi antennas. The camera takes 802.3at or 802.3af PoE on its gigabit port, or 12 V DC, and has a microSD slot for local recording.

Please read this before ordering. This model is discontinued by EnGenius. The firmware on the shelf is from the 2017 generation and no current cloud service or ongoing firmware support should be assumed. It is offered as new old stock.

This is an indoor camera. No ingress protection rating is published, so it is not suitable for exposed outdoor mounting.

Full mesh and access point functionality is designed around an EnGenius Neutron EWS wireless management switch or controller. The camera works standalone but it is not a consumer plug and play cloud camera.

The unit photographed carries an Australian plug adapter. Please confirm the plug type with us before ordering if that matters to your installation.
