Delta ESR-48/30D A Rectifier Module 48V 30A 54.3V Hot Swap (NEW In Box)

The Delta ESR-48/30D A is a plug in switch mode rectifier module for 48 volt telecom DC power systems. It slides into the front of a Delta rectifier shelf, converts mains AC to a regulated negative 48 volt DC output, and shares current with the other modules in the shelf so the plant can run N plus 1 redundant. Modules are hot swappable, so a faulty unit can be pulled and replaced without dropping the DC bus.

Delta does not publish a standalone datasheet for the ESR-48/30D A, so the electrical figures above are taken from Delta's own platform documentation for the shelf family this module belongs to. Some resellers headline this module as 1800 W. Thirty amps at 54.3 volts is 1629 watts, and Delta's published figure for the sibling ESR-48/30B is 1500 W, so we have quoted the class as approximately 1.6 to 1.8 kW rather than repeat an unverified number.

Do not confuse this with the ESR-48/40D D, a 40 amp CellD series module. A widely circulated PDF titled Delta ESR-48-30D D is in fact the datasheet for that different product.
