Crestron IM-RXV1-M 6501929 iMedia Receiver RGB Video Audio CAT5 (New Opened)

The Crestron IM-RXV1-M is an iMedia receiver, Crestron part number 6501929. It takes the iMedia signal from a single iMedia transmitter over one CAT5e run and breaks it out into RGB, composite video, audio and control at the display end, which made it the standard single-cable solution for small conference and training rooms before HDBaseT took over. Crestron has discontinued the product.

Inputs are the iMedia link on RJ-45, a 3.5 mm microphone input, three digital inputs and bidirectional RS-232. Outputs cover RGB on DB15HD, composite video on RCA, balanced stereo line level audio, two speaker level outputs at 10 W each, two relays for screen and lift control, and an IR port. There is a 10/100BaseT Ethernet port with e-Control 2 and RoomView management. The receiver carries a built-in 20 W stereo amplifier with 20-bit 48 kHz conversion, and supports 1024x768 at 60 Hz to about 26 m and 1600x1200 at 60 Hz to about 10 m, plus composite 480i NTSC and 576i PAL. Power is 18 VDC at 3.0 A, and the black metal chassis measures 222 x 195 x 41 mm and weighs 0.79 kg.

Our records did not carry a condition for this item, so it has been assessed from the photographs and is listed as pre-owned. Two points the buyer should know: the MAC address printed on the outer carton label does not match the MAC address on the unit's own label, so the unit inside is not the one originally packed in this box; and the unit carries a hand-marked quality control inspection tag. Both are consistent with a returned, inspected or repackaged unit rather than sealed new stock, and both are shown in the listing photographs.
