Crestron DIN-HUB 6501751 DIN Rail Cresnet Distribution Hub (New Opened)

The Crestron DIN-HUB is a DIN rail mounted Cresnet distribution hub, Crestron part number 6501751. A single Cresnet segment is limited to roughly twenty devices, and the DIN-HUB removes that ceiling by providing three additional isolated Cresnet segments from one host connection, taking a system to around eighty devices in total. It requires no programming; it is fitted, wired and it works.

Connections are two paralleled 4-pin 3.5 mm detachable terminal blocks on the NET HOST port and six more across the NET A, NET B and NET C segments, two paralleled per segment, plus a 24 VDC NET PWR INPUT. Each segment can be jumpered to draw 24 VDC either from the host port or from an external Crestron supply using the HOST, EXT and G pin selection, and each segment carries up to 75 W, that is 3.13 A at 24 VDC. The hub itself draws only 0.6 W. Diagnostic LEDs show power and bus activity on each segment. Terminals are front accessible and take 14 to 26 AWG wire with an 11 mm strip. The unit snaps onto standard 35 mm DIN rail and occupies six DIN module spaces. Cresnet HP wire cannot be used with this hub.
