The Avaya DECT R4 Standard Radio Base Station V3 is an IP DECT radio base station for the Avaya DECT R4 cordless telephone system. It is designed to provide wireless DECT coverage so that Avaya DECT handsets can be used throughout a building.

The base station has two integral internal antennas that produce a directional pattern of radio coverage, and it supports up to eight simultaneous calls. It connects to an Avaya IP Office 500 control unit over IP and is powered using IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet or an optional power supply.
