Aritech TS1021 Tecom Challenger10 8 Input Expander for TS1020 DGP (NEW In Box)

The Aritech TS1021 is an eight input expansion module for the Tecom Challenger10 TS1020 Analogue Data Gathering Panel, sold in Australia under the Tecom part number S5017A. It adds eight monitored alarm inputs to a DGP, and up to three modules can be daisy chained to take a single TS1020 from eight inputs to thirty two.

The module plugs into the DGP with a ten way ribbon cable at connectors J2 and J3, into the DGP's J7. It runs from the DGP's own 10.5 to 13.8 V DC supply and draws a maximum of 10 mA. A wide range of end of line resistor values is supported, including 10K, 6K8, 5K6, 4K7, 3K7, 3K3, 2K2, 2K2/6K8, 2K0, 1K5 and 1K0. It is a Tecom B size board and mounts on four standoffs inside the DGP enclosure.

Additional Information

Please read this before ordering. The TS1021 fits the Challenger10 series TS1020 Analogue DGP only. The superficially identical older TS0021 is the module that fits the TS1020, TS0820, TS0824 and TS0866. If you have a Challenger V8 era TS0820, TS0824 or TS0866 DGP you need the TS0021, not this board.

This is a ribbon cable module, not an RS-485 bus device, and it does not plug into a Challenger control panel directly. It expands a DGP.

A maximum of three modules can be fitted per DGP.

This is a Tecom Challenger part. It will not work in an Aritech ATS or Advisor Advanced panel.

This is a bare PCB. No enclosure and no power supply are included. Installation should be carried out by a licensed security technician.
