Aritech CA1110 Tecom Challenger 16 Area 2x16 LCD Arming Station (NEW In Box)

The Aritech CA1110 is a 16 area remote arming station for the Tecom Challenger security system, sold in Australia under the Tecom part number S2311. It is the wall mounted keypad users interact with to arm and disarm areas, acknowledge alarms and navigate the system menus. This variant has a two line by sixteen character backlit LCD and no card reader.

Sixteen area LEDs show armed, disarmed and fault state at a glance, with four further LEDs for system conditions and backlit keys for use in the dark. A rear tamper switch is integrated, the beeper tone is user selectable and a custom idle message can be programmed. It sits on the Challenger RS-485 LAN, is addressed by DIP switch and is continuously monitored for offline state by the panel. One open collector output rated 50 mA is provided. The unit is supplied with a metal mounting bracket with multiple conduit entries.

Additional Information

Please read this before ordering. This variant has no card reader. If you need the integrated smart card reader you need the CA1115 for the two line display or the CA1116 for the four line display. This is the single most common mis purchase in this series.

This is the two line display version. The CA1111 is the four line equivalent.

This is a Tecom Challenger LAN device. It will not work on an Aritech ATS or Advisor Advanced, Inner Range Integriti, Bosch or DSC system. It requires an existing Challenger control panel with a free LAN address and is not a standalone product.

The carton shows storage marks and scuffing from the shelf, however the blue factory seal across the flap is intact and unbroken. The contents have not been opened.
