Alcatel-Lucent 8135S IP Conference Phone SIP PoE 3MG08015AA (NEW In Box)

The Alcatel-Lucent 8135s is a SIP conference phone for meeting rooms, sold by ALE as part of the OmniTouch range under part number 3MG08015AA. It uses OmniSound HD audio with a 360 degree omnidirectional microphone, automatic echo cancellation and noise suppression, and covers a room of up to 30 square metres and about twelve people. Coverage extends to around 70 square metres with the optional expansion microphones.

It is a full SIP version 2 endpoint supporting UDP, TCP, TLS and SIPS signalling with RTP and SRTP media, and the G722, G711 A-law, G711 mu-law and G729ab codecs. Two SIP accounts can be configured and a local five way audio bridge is built in. The phone is powered over 802.3af PoE Class 3, or from an optional mains adapter. Bluetooth Low Energy and NFC are provided for pairing with the ALE Unite mobile application, and a USB 2.0 Mini-B port is fitted.

Please read this before ordering. This is the phone only pack, part number 3MG08015AA. It contains the phone, an Ethernet cable and a safety sheet. It does not include the mains power adapter and it does not include expansion microphones. The pack that bundles those items is a different part number, 3MG07040AA. Please compare like with like when checking prices.

The phone must therefore be powered by 802.3af PoE Class 3, or the buyer must separately obtain the 3GV28133AA 14 V DC adapter.

This is a SIP device. It requires a SIP or IP platform such as Alcatel-Lucent OXO or OXE, or a compatible SIP PBX. It will not work on a plain analogue phone line.

Bluetooth on this model is control and Low Energy only. It will not stream call audio from a mobile phone.

The unit carries CE and FCC marks. No Australian RCM mark was visible on the carton label. The batch code indicates 2019 manufacture, so this is new old stock and any original manufacturer warranty has expired.

The item is new and supplied in the manufacturer's box. The packaging may show minor shelf wear from storage.
